隨著冬意漸濃，全台各地的落羽松進入一年中最迷人的變色階段，由翠綠逐漸變為橘黃、深紅至紅褐色，像是自然為冬季披上的絢麗彩衣。這股季節限定的自然美景，尤其在林堡路沿線形成一條浪漫的 「金紅色大道」，吸引大批遊客與攝影愛好者前來欣賞與捕捉如畫的冬日風情。

落羽松屬落葉性針葉樹，是少數會在秋冬轉色的針葉樹種。每年約 12月起至翌年1月 是 變色及觀賞的最佳時機，隨著氣溫下降，葉片經歷由綠 → 黃 → 橘紅的色系漸變，最終呈現濃郁的紅褐調，打造出季節限定的夢幻景致。
