為實踐「博物館島」理念，推動金門傳統宗族家廟文化由展示空間走入真實生活場域，金門縣文化局委由委由運籌機制計畫團隊國立臺灣師範大學辦理「島嶼博物館的動態文化體驗：家廟上樑儀式保存技術傳習」活動；並結合金門縣文化園區管理所、金門縣文化資產保存協會、金門城社區發展協會及金門縣辛氏宗親會等單位共同協辦。活動於民國115年1月19日（星期一）上午8點30分在金門城西門外辛氏家廟舉行，由江柏煒教授帶領參與學員，循著博物館與金門城聚落之文化路徑，實地走入仍持續運作中的宗族家廟營建與上樑祈福儀式現場講解導覽成果豐碩，活動圓滿成功。

門縣文化局局長陳榮昌於致詞時表示，金門的聚落與家廟是最能體現宗族文化的重要場域，透過將博物館的文化路徑研究與展示成果帶入家廟現場，不僅能深化民眾對傳統文化的理解，也有助於傳統宗族文化的活化與保存。金門縣文化園區管理所所長盧根陣亦指出，從博物館走進家廟，是串聯博物館與聚落生活最具代表性的文化路徑，充分展現「島嶼博物館」由館舍展區延伸至常民生活，實踐博物館「動態文化場域」的公共角色。
