行政院公共工程委員會於115年1月21日舉行第25屆公共工程金質獎頒獎典禮，港務處以「水頭港大型旅客服務中心新建工程」榮獲「公共工程品質優良獎」建築類佳作，顯現本案在工程品質、施工管理、整體規劃及執行成效等面向，深獲評審委員肯定。

水頭港大型旅客服務中心座落於水頭港內港區南岸，建築為4層樓鋼構，總樓地板面積約36,000平方公尺，一樓為入境層、三樓為出境層，透過完善的旅客動線分流，提供寬敞明亮且高效率的通關服務空間，大幅提升航廈服務水準，並帶動地區產業及觀光發展。同時也配合中央推動「郵輪直靠」政策停泊國際萬噸級郵輪，新增S4、S5碼頭岸際廊道設施，使金門港具備接軌國際，為地方觀光與產業發展注入新動能。
本工程除著重建築機能與服務品質外，亦高度重視工程管理與施工安全，施工期間即曾榮獲勞動部113年「第18屆推動職業安全衛生優良工程金安獎」肯定，並於本次再獲公共工程金質獎，展現本案在安全、品質與工程治理面向之整體成果。施工團隊於工程執行過程中，導入BIM整合管理、智慧工地及多項科技監控措施，兼顧施工效率、作業安全與工程品質，建立公共工程良好示範。
