銀膠菊為外來入侵植物，近年在金門蔓延迅速，常見於荒地、田埂及路旁，不僅排擠原生植物，也可能引發皮膚炎、花粉症及過敏性支氣管炎，對敏感體質者與家畜影響明顯。因繁殖力強，若未在開花前移除，將加速擴散，影響生態與生活品質。
民眾應提高辨識與防範意識，發現銀膠菊時配戴口罩、手套、穿長袖，連根拔除，避免直接接觸。並可通報相關單位或參與社區清除行動，優先處理校園、村里與公園等活動密集區域。全民動員、及早防治，才能有效遏止銀膠菊擴散，守護生態與健康。
