13日上午7時51分，金門縣金湖鎮太湖路三段三多路口發生一起汽機車碰撞事故。63歲趙姓女子駕駛銀色自用小客車，沿太湖路三段由中正公園往畜試所方向行駛，於綠燈左轉時，與對向由38歲張姓女子騎乘直行的普通重型機車發生碰撞。事故造成張女右大腿骨裂，並有手腳及頭部擦挫傷，經送往衛福部金門醫院治療；小客車駕駛則未受傷。警方接獲通報後迅速到場處理並疏導交通，經對雙方駕駛實施酒測，初步排除酒後駕車情形，詳細肇事原因仍待進一步釐清。
金門縣警察局金湖分局提醒民眾，車輛行經交岔路口應減速慢行，並依路權規定行駛，轉彎車應禮讓直行車先行，左方車應禮讓右方車先行，進入路口前務必做好「減速、停、讓」的安全準備，以確保行車安全。警方也指出，若未依規定禮讓車輛，將依「道路交通管理處罰條例」第45條規定，處新臺幣600元以上、1,800元以下罰鍰。
