為防範外來入侵種紅火蟻擴散危害，金門縣政府近期加強防治宣導，提醒民眾提高警覺，及早發現、即時通報，共同守護居住環境與農業安全。紅火蟻具有強烈攻擊性，其叮咬會造成紅腫、疼痛，嚴重者甚至引發過敏反應，不僅影響人體健康，也會破壞農作物與公共設施，對生態環境造成長期衝擊。
縣府表示，紅火蟻常築巢於草地、農地、校園及道路邊坡，外觀呈現鬆散土丘狀，民眾如發現疑似蟻丘，切勿任意觸碰或自行處理，應儘速通報相關單位，由專業人員進行防治作業。同時呼籲民眾落實環境管理，避免隨意移動土壤、植栽及農產品，以降低擴散風險。透過全民共同參與與持續防治，才能有效遏止紅火蟻蔓延，維護金門良好的生活與生態環境。
