作為金門小三通新門戶的「金門港旅運中心」將於2月3日展開試營運，中央相關單位29日赴金門實地視察通關動線，肯定新通關大樓整體規劃完善、動線順暢且空間寬敞，展現中央與地方攜手合作成果，為小三通發展注入新動能。適逢小三通啟動25週年，新旅運中心啟用更具指標性意義。
港務處指出，金門港旅運中心為4層樓鋼構建築，總工程經費逾32億元，年旅次量可達350萬人次，採1樓入境、3樓出境分流設計，並配合郵輪直靠政策，未來可停泊萬噸級國際郵輪，全面提升港埠整體服務量能。
