在金湖鎮小太湖觀景台（位於金湖國中斜對面），設置全新生態裝置藝術—「小水獺裝置藝術」，以生動可愛的造型呈現太湖水域豐富的自然生命力與生態特色。此次裝置藝術結合在地保育故事與生活意象，不僅成為湖畔亮眼的視覺焦點，更傳遞珍愛自然、推動生態共好的理念。

漂浮於湖面上的「小水獺」，頭戴斗笠、悠然躺在竹筏上，神情滿足而自在，彷彿正享受太湖的微風與陽光，為小太湖增添一抹療癒又溫馨的風景。圓潤討喜的外型搭配逗趣神情，吸引許多民眾駐足欣賞、拍照打卡，也象徵小太湖水域孕育的珍貴自然生命力，深受大小朋友喜愛。
