針對近期多項道路工程接連出現工期延宕情形，業者坦言「缺工問題一直都在」，並指出工程量大、工人並非同一家廠商調度，加上外籍勞工申請門檻高，導致人力不足問題恐將持續惡化。然而，相關說法已引發民眾高度不滿，質疑主管機關是否早已預見風險卻未及時因應。

目前受影響的道路工程包括瓊安路、環島北路、黃海路、29-2線延伸至大橋路段，以及大佛園區周邊工程，多處路段長期施工未完成，不僅影響交通順暢，更對居民生活與行車安全造成困擾。更令外界質疑的是，相關承包廠商除了承攬道路工程外，同時還負責多項房屋建設工程，在人力有限情況下，是否出現「多案齊發、資源分散」的情形，導致公共工程被迫讓位，進而影響施工進度與品質，主管機關是否確實掌握並加以控管，令人存疑。
