金門縣金城鎮民生路段位處金城市區核心地帶，為重要交通幹道之一，平日車流量大、尖峰時段交通繁忙，相對停車需求增加，為改善金城市區路邊停車環境，提升道路交通秩序與通行效率，前於金城鎮第三期區段徵收工增設金城幼稚園後方「社六」及「住3-1-1」施作臨時停車場，提供500位汽車停車格，同步於113年11月於民生路與中興路口辦理交通改善工程，增設左轉專用道及直右分流車道，同時配合綠燈早開時相，以緩解左轉與直行車輛之衝突，並教育民眾停車觀念。

經縣府持續就民生路段停車管理進行滾動檢討與調整，並會同各級民意代表現勘達成共識後，已重新調整標線，恢復原有快、慢車道配置，並將原停車收費格取消，保留必要身障、婦幼、卸貨車格共七格。
