消防局役男王柏儒日前接受內政部與國防部聯合舉辦第83屆兵役節慶祝大會績優役男表揚，也是金門地區唯一獲獎的績優替代役男。

王柏儒目前服務於消防局金城消防分隊，在入伍前從事工程業，擁有豐富的室內裝修實務經驗。進入分隊服役後，他發現基層消防單位的裝修器具或設施偶有損耗，便主動請纓，利用休息時間發揮專業，為分隊修繕各項器材。這不僅延長了裝備的使用壽命，更為分隊省下了不少報修公帑，成為同仁眼中不可或缺的「全能助手」。分隊也利用柏儒室內裝修的專業背景，執行「獨居老人消防宣導訪視」勤務，挨家挨戶為獨居長者安裝住警器（住宅用火災警報器）。柏儒發揮職人精神，自己攜帶專業電鑽，不畏安裝難度，只為了讓住警器安裝發揮最佳偵測效果，並耐心地向長者解說宣導，展現出謙遜有禮的人格特質，為守護鄰里注入正能量。從分隊內部的修繕維護到社區獨居長者的防火安全，王柏儒均能以主動積極的態度面對。
