位於金湖鎮新市里的忠義廟，於農曆正月十二日至十三日舉行關聖帝君聖誕千秋慶典，一連兩日舉辦平安福醮與遶境祈福儀式。金湖鎮公所秘書陳書文28日率領同仁前往參香並致贈爐敬金，祈求神明庇佑浯島風調雨順、民生安定、鄉里祥和。慶典期間，新市里家家戶戶依循傳統準備牲禮、粿粽及各式供品，陸續前往廟中祭拜酬神，祈求消災解厄、身心康泰。

此外，鎮公所亦配合慶典辦理「新市里忠義廟擲炮城祈福活動」，吸引眾多鄉親及遊客踴躍參與。活動中，民眾手持炮竹擲向高懸炮城，在震耳欲聾的炮響與漫天紙屑中象徵向神明傳達心願，既具挑戰性又富含吉祥寓意，現場喝采聲與歡笑聲不斷，將節慶氣氛推向高潮。
