受洋流與地理位置影響，金門沿岸時常出現來自中國沿海地區的海漂垃圾，不少廢棄物可見簡體字標示或中國製造包裝，包括保麗龍浮具、塑膠瓶罐及漁業廢棄物等。這些垃圾隨潮汐漂流至金門海岸，不僅破壞自然景觀，也對當地海洋生態造成長期衝擊。部分垃圾難以分解，恐進一步形成微塑膠，對食物鏈與人體健康帶來潛在風險。
面對跨境海洋污染問題，金門縣政府持續加強海岸清理作業，並透過監測與資料蒐集，掌握海漂垃圾來源與種類，同時向中央反映，爭取跨區域合作機制。相關單位也呼籲民眾共同參與淨灘行動，減少塑膠使用，從源頭降低污染。唯有透過國際與區域合作，以及全民環保意識提升，才能有效改善海漂垃圾問題，守護金門珍貴的海洋環境。
