農曆正月初九「天公生」，民間視為玉皇大帝聖誕，金門地區素有登高祈福的傳統。不少鄉親於昨日清晨扶老攜幼，登上金門第一高峰太武山，前往海印寺參拜祝禱，祈求新年平安順遂。雖逢春節後開工日，人潮較往年略減，但仍有不少民眾結伴登山進香。沿途警方加強交通疏導，秩序良好；廟方亦準備素麵與信眾結緣，現場香火鼎盛，氣氛莊嚴熱絡。
海印寺始建於宋代，迄今已有七百餘年歷史，為地方信仰重鎮。今年適逢馬年，廟方提供光明燈、安太歲與祈福卡服務，信眾在大雄寶殿依序參拜，虔誠祝禱。廣場植栽掛滿紅色祈福卡，寫下新年心願。海拔253公尺的太武山，亦是眺望金門景致與健行休憩的熱門地點，使登山進香成為春節期間兼具信仰與運動意義的在地習俗。
