金沙戲院歷經半年修復工程，於115年1月10日正式重新啟用。為活絡地方觀光，金門縣政府觀光處將於2月19日至2月22日（大年初三至初六）於金沙戲院舉辦「金沙攏馬有藝思－金沙戲院馬年新春創藝體驗」活動；另自2月14日至2月22日（2月16日除夕休館）安排「阿特大軍」進駐，打造春節限定打卡場景，邀請鄉親及遊客一同走春迎新。
縣長陳福海表示，「友善金門」為縣府推動觀光與施政的重要主軸，致力建構以人為本的旅遊環境。回顧過去「十萬大軍」駐守金門年代，金沙戲院與沙美商圈曾是軍民休閒娛樂的重要據點，也是沙美地區核心公共文化場域。此次重新啟用後，縣府攜手相關單位規劃系列主題活動，串聯沙美商圈與周邊社區發展協會，導入手作體驗與觀光服務等多元內容，延長遊客停留時間，帶動地方經濟發展，讓老戲院成為在地生活的一部分。
觀光處處長許績鑫指出，本次新春創藝體驗活動結合馬年生肖意象、沙美地方文化特色與金沙戲院歷史場域，透過多場次創作體驗與互動手作課程，引導民眾以「動手創作」方式重新認識在地文化價值。
活動報名網址將於115年2月13日（週五）上午9時公告於觀光處「金門觀光逗陣行」臉書粉絲專頁，開放民眾線上報名。報名成功者須於活動當日提供115年2月份於金沙鎮消費滿新臺幣100元之發票或收據1張（每位參加者均須提供），供現場查驗。
此外，配合新春馬年氛圍，觀光處安排「阿特大軍」進駐金沙戲院，現場規劃FRP公仔佈展及氣膜裝置藝術等亮點。並於2月17日至19日（大年初一至初三），於金沙戲院及新市256同步加碼設置互動拍貼機，增添走春樂趣。
另於2月17日至22日（大年初一至初六）推出「沙美老街遊程」（上午10時至12時），凡參加者即可獲得精美小禮物1份。報名地點及遊程起點皆為金沙戲院，將帶領民眾走訪沙美街景角落，體驗老街文化氛圍。
縣府觀光處表示，期盼透過金沙戲院重新啟用契機，導入更多元創新觀光元素，活化歷史場域與沙美商圈發展，讓金沙戲院成為串聯地方文化與觀光的新亮點。
