20日下午，海巡署金馬澎分署第十二巡防區再次偵獲中國海警船編隊航近我方水域，立即調度預置巡防艇併航監控，強力驅離。當日14時許，透過情監偵系統掌握中國海警船集結趨勢，巡防艇前推部署至限制水域線上。15時，中國海警「14507」、「14609」、「14531」及「14604」等4艘海警船，分別自料羅及沙溪堡南方以兩組分進模式侵擾金門限制水域，巡防艇立即採取「一對一」併航監控，並以中、英文無線電廣播要求轉向離開，最終於17時03分全數離開我方水域，展現捍衛主權的決心。
海巡署指出，中國海警持續以不同編隊方式擾亂我方監偵，但仍無法逃過海巡全天候、高強度掌握。海巡署呼籲中國重視區域和平穩定，停止可能引發衝突的騷擾行為。面對灰色地帶威脅，海巡將持續運用高科技裝備掌握海面動態，全力捍衛國家主權與海域安全。
