為改善浯江溪口濕地生態環境，縣府持續推動外來入侵種「護花米草」移除作業，近期已初見成效。原本覆蓋潮間帶泥灘地的米草明顯減少，地貌逐步恢復自然狀態，有助於底棲生物棲息及候鳥覓食。副縣長李文良表示，感謝相關單位投入人力與機具執行清除工作，有效抑制擴散情形。

縣府指出，浯江溪口為重要濕地環境，具有生態與保育價值，未來將持續監測復育成果，防止再度蔓延，並朝濕地保護區目標努力，結合社區與志工力量，共同守護在地生態資源。
