金城鎮東門里社區發展協會於115年3月18日晚間在社區活動中心舉行本年度首場治安會議，由理事長陳媽愛主持，出席者包括金城分局分局長周宏璘、派出所副所長黃啓成、縣警局防治科、直屬大隊、消防局、分局志工及社區民眾約50餘人，場面熱絡。會議聚焦居家及社區安全宣導，涵蓋竊盜、詐騙、火災、家暴、性侵、毒品、兒童及老人意外、一氧化碳中毒等八大面向。
分局長周宏璘指出，雖然近期詐騙件數及金額已有下降，但詐騙事件仍時有所見，特別分享近期詐騙案例：詐騙集團冒名名人成立讀書會，誘騙受害者面交200萬元，事實上該名人並未成立讀書會。周分局長提醒民眾多方查證，並利用「165打詐儀錶板」網站掌握最新詐騙趨勢，必要時撥打165反詐騙專線確認。會議透過座談互動傾聽民眾建言，回應治安、交通、防災及婦幼安全等需求，並協助轉報非警政議題，期望建構安全宜居的幸福島嶼環境。
