為提升弱勢族群居家消防安全，金門縣消防局於114年10月5日上午9時，舉辦「民間團體協助安裝住警器」誓師活動，邀請精忠衛隊及第三士官學校校友會協助安裝住宅用火災警報器。活動由消防局局長呂英華與議員王國代共同主持，消防局副局長陳國瑋及多位消防同仁、民間團體代表共20餘人參與。
此次活動由王國代議員主動發起，表達對弱勢族群的關懷。王議員率領精忠衛隊及第三士校校友會積極投入「主動出擊、到府安裝」行動，協助行動不便或獨居長者安裝住警器，展現濃厚公益熱忱。呂局長感謝王議員及民間團體的熱心協助，強調「取之社會、用之於社會」的理念，攜手注入社會正向能量，推動社區防災安全。
自民國98年起，金門消防局即推動住警器到府安裝服務，截至113年，全縣住警器普及率已達99.85%。近三年於火災現場觸發住警器達11件，均成功及早警示，避免人命傷亡，顯示住警器功能有效，保障民眾生命財產安全。
內政部於99年12月發布「住宅用火災警報器設置辦法」，要求新建住宅依法設置住警器，並對弱勢族群提供補助。金門消防局則針對行動不便及避難弱勢主動到府安裝，以確保他們在火災初期可獲得及時預警，保障生命安全。去年即為縣內162戶獨居老人安裝住警器，強化社區安全網。
呂英華局長表示：「警力有限、民力無窮」，藉由民間團體加入合作，有效彌補人力不足，提升防災韌性。縣府秉持「勤政親民」施政理念，特別關注長者及弱勢族群的生活安全，將持續推動相關安裝服務，落實守護每一位縣民的消防安全。
